主 题：International business in the information age
主讲人：Liang Chen（University of Sussex）
International business is a distinct research field that thrived in the 1970s, yet has been constantly evolving to remain relevant to the changing world economy. This lecture will briefly discuss the intellectual roots of international business, and its successful engagement with the rise of emerging market multinational enterprises. Then we will explore what contemporary real world challenges imply for the international business research. Emphasis will be placed on the recent anti-globalization sentiment, and particularly, the prevalence of Internet based firms and business models.
